Birth Support Includes
I provide support for pregnant people in the Wilmington area and support them throughout their pregnancy, labor/birth, and postpartum transition. I help provide you with information about all of the options that are available to you for your personalized journey. I can provide references for home birth midwives, lactation professionals, and more resources. I strive to give evidence based information so that you can make informed decisions, so that you feel empowered throughout your journey. Birth support also includes:
After contact signing you are able to contact me through phone calls, text or email about any concerns you have.
2-3 Prenatal Visits - These visits are done in-person with me. We will go over your birth preferences and options for labor, birth and postpartum. How to advocate for yourself during labor. We will go over comfort measures for labor, Postpartum planning, partner concerns, and my role as your doula, and how to contact me when in labor
Continuous Labor Support: Support starts the moment you feel that you need me. Early labor support can be done over the phone and as labor progresses will move to in-person support. Inperson support will be wherever you are giving birth, at home or in the hospital.
Immediate Postpartum Care: For up to 2 hours after delivery. Assistance with Breastfeeding or Infant feeding
2 Postpartum Follow Up Visits - check in with you after birth, go over any concerns that you may have, offer assistance where it’s needed. Virtual checkins for up to 6 weeks postpartum.

Postpartum Support
Daytime Support: Our daytime postpartum doula services are designed to provide you with the practical and emotional support you need as you adjust to life with your new baby. During daytime hours, our doulas offer:
Newborn Care Guidance: Hands-on assistance with feeding, diapering, bathing, and soothing techniques. We help you establish healthy routines and provide tips for managing your baby’s needs.
Breastfeeding Support: Guidance on breastfeeding techniques, positioning, and latch to ensure a successful and comfortable feeding experience. We also provide support for bottle feeding and pumping if needed.
Household Assistance: Light housekeeping tasks to help maintain a calm and organized home environment. This may include meal preparation, tidying up, and running errands.
Emotional Physical Support: We offer reassurance and practical advice to help you feel confident and supported. Can offer assistance with baby for mom to rest and for self care.
Education and Resources: Information on newborn care, postpartum recovery, and parenting tips. We connect you with additional resources and referrals if needed.
